Past exhibitions

Susan has participated in many exhibitions, both in Australia and overseas. Here is a snippet of some of the work and images of the exhibitions.

Susan’s paintings depict abstracted landscapes or close ups of plants and plant cells. Her finished prints, created using a combination of etching and relief printmaking techniques, often represent symbolic stories of nature.

The challenge was to produce work that would evoke the sense of importance that fungi have in our environment. This is Susan’s first exhibition with the Maleny Printmakers.

Warring Printmakers have a reputation for quality fine art prints. Many members have their work hung in China where there is reciprocal exhibition priveleges.

Susan’s image of a rainforest was chosen as the lead promotional image for the exhibition. She successfully sold a number of pieces.

This is the second time Susan has exhibited at Be Brave Gallery. Susan is always impressed with the way the work is curated and hung by Be brave owner and curator Tina Berkeley.

Mackerel Beach Artist Trail

Mackerel Beach is home to many artists - some with established art practices and some who had very little exhibition experience. The artist trail proved to be successful and was patronised by many visitors to Mackerel for the 100th Anniversary.
